Technical Project Manager, Strategic Technology Initiatives

The Technical Project Manager, Strategic Technology Initiatives will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of strategic technology programs while ensuring alignment between technical teams and business objectives. This role requires strong ownership of project outcomes, effective stakeholder communication, and the ability to manage complex initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, dependencies, and risk mitigation strategies.


• Define project scope, objectives, and success criteria while ensuring alignment with organizational goals and stakeholder expectations.


• Lead project kickoffs, status meetings, strategic reviews, and post-project assessments to ensure consistent execution.


• Track project progress, deliverables, and strategic milestones using project management tools and reporting frameworks.


• Partner with executive leadership to translate strategic priorities into actionable plans with clear ownership and measurable outcomes.


• Support cloud technology initiatives and software growth projects by coordinating product, engineering, operations, finance, and commercial teams.


• Monitor execution against strategic objectives, identify gaps, and drive corrective actions to maintain progress.


• Manage project budgets, forecasts, expenses, and financial reporting while ensuring alignment with approved plans.


• Prepare executive dashboards, presentations, and reports highlighting progress, risks, opportunities, and business impact.


• Act as the central communication point between technical and non-technical stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.


• Identify project risks, issues, and dependencies while developing mitigation strategies and facilitating timely resolution.


• Leverage AI-powered tools and workflows to improve project planning, tracking, delivery efficiency, and technology commercialization efforts.


• Contribute to continuous improvement by refining project management processes, tools, and best practices.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate brings strong experience managing technical projects, coordinating cross-functional teams, and connecting technology delivery with business outcomes. You should be comfortable working with software development teams, executive stakeholders, and emerging technology initiatives while maintaining strong organizational discipline.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.


• 5+ years of experience managing cloud, software development, or technical projects.


• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives involving technical and non-technical stakeholders.


• Demonstrated experience using AI tools and workflows to accelerate project planning, execution, tracking, and technology commercialization.


• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, cloud technologies, and technical project delivery processes.


• Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously while maintaining priorities and deadlines.


• Experience managing project budgets, financial tracking, and performance reporting.


• Excellent communication, presentation, organization, and stakeholder management skills.


• Ability to understand technical software concepts and communicate effectively with engineering teams.


• Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Asana, or similar platforms.


• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.


• PMP certification or similar project management qualification is considered an asset.


• Experience in healthcare technology, foodservice operations, or nutrition management software is an advantage.


• MBA or equivalent experience translating technical initiatives into business strategy is considered a strong asset.
