Job Description - Reporting / Information Analyst

Our client is publicly traded world-leader in the manufacture, distribution and marketing of a variety of medical instruments, devices and other products to enhance the quality of life for millions of people around the world.

You will ensure continuous communication with internal customers in Finance, Operations and Sales/Marketing in order to fully understand their 'informational' needs. This role requires excellent communication techniques and strong technical skills to provide a high level of service regarding business analytics and reporting.

You Will...

Develop meaningful, actionable reports forinternal clientsusing various reporting/query tools, like MS SQL Reporting Services, Crystal Reports, Dashboards, Excel, etc.
Always beon the lookout for ways to improve existing reports, data and business processes.
Running ad hoc reports and queries from our client's datawarehouse for Finance and Operations
Importing, exporting and integrating data between systems
Ability to identify critical areas of the data structure, and come up with creative ways to improve the performance of the reporting.
Documentation of data systems
Maintain confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored or accessed by the network

You Have...

A completed University Degree
Strong reporting skills (report design) experience, using reporting applications such as Crystal Reports, Cognos PowerPlay/Transformer/Impromptu, MS-SQL Server Reporting Services, etc.
Strong MS SQL Server (2000/2005) skills (table, view, DTS packages, stored procedure designs) and techniques of system integration (MSMQ, XML, Web Services, flat files etc…)
Understanding of the concept of relational databases and data warehousing
Very strong analytical skills / detail oriented personality
“Client Service” mentality
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Nice to haves, but not required: Visio, EDI, Navision, MS Project, knowledge of finance/accounting
