Residence Support Worker - Daytime 0800-1600

This posting is for applicants who are available to work daytime shifts (0800-1600) only. 

Under the direction of the Residential Supervisor, the Residence Support Worker is responsible for primary care, support and supervision of persons in residence. The residents may show evidence of behavioural, social, emotional or addiction disorders. The primary responsibility of this position is to respond to and work with persons therapeutically to effect positive behavioural change; building self-esteem and life skills in a residential setting. 

In addition to providing client care, tasks to be performed will include cleaning, organizing, filing, documenting and food preparation.

• First Aid/CPR Certificate (St. John’s Ambulance or Red Cross)


• TB Clearance
  


• Yukon Class 5 Driver's Licence
