Opportunities Yukon currently operates two residential programs dedicated to female-only clients. This posting is for applicants who are available to work the overnight shift (0000-0800) only. 

NOTE: The results of this posting may be used to fill future overnight indeterminate Resident Support Worker positions.

Under the direction of the Residential Supervisor, the Residence Support Worker is responsible for primary care, support and supervision of persons in residence. The residents may show evidence of behavioural, social, emotional or addiction disorders. The primary responsibility of this position is to respond to and work with persons therapeutically to effect positive behavioural change; building self-esteem and life skills in a residential setting.

This is an awake-overnight position; in addition to providing client care, tasks to be performed will include cleaning, organizing, filing, documenting and food preparation.
