Our client is General Mills. Your role is to provide in-field and ongoing coaching and support to the Team. Identify business development opportunities to drive sales within an assigned geographical territory.
The Role: Part-Time Retail Sales Representative for General Mills - ON - Woodstock - Approx. 21 hours/week

What You’ll Be Doing Every Day:
Sales & Merchandising Responsibilities
Represent General Mills and Blue Buffalo in a professional manner by providing retail customers with the best serviceWork with your Manager to set territory goals based on company objectives and develop strategies to meet and/or established target by:Developing customer relations to become a trusted advisorIntroducing new products and promotional events into the marketLeveraging selling skills to solicit orders for account bookings and allocationClosing distribution gaps by confirming correct shelf tags are present in compliance with account listing & store planogramsEnsuring supply availability through merchandising product and checking order / inventory statusNegotiating space for and building Gold Standard displays to maximize points of interruption as well as confirming and correcting previously agreed display implementationsUsing sales tools provided to identify opportunities & gaps and determine action plan to drive sales, improve distribution, recognize underperforming categories, and increase overall profitability in your territoryRecognizing and utilizing regional sales trends in order to maximize in-store performanceProviding feedback and insight on retail conditions and/or issues as they are encounteredOther duties as required
Your Experience:
Ideally 1-3 years of territory sales and merchandising experience in CPGSuperior communication and presentation skillsAmazing relationship-building skillsLeadership/coaching skillsStrong selling skillsStrong attention to detailStrong personal drive, positive attitude and excellent problem-solving skills are essentialAptitude for fast learning, careful strategic planning and ability to self-support with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
