The Roof Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all aspects of commercial and industrial roofing projects — from award to closeout. This role ensures that projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to Triumph’s high standards of quality and professionalism.
The Project Manager acts as the primary liaison between the client, field teams, suppliers, and internal departments, ensuring that Triumph’s roofing and waterproofing scopes are executed efficiently, safely, and profitably.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Coordination
Review project scope, drawings, and specifications upon award to confirm deliverables and requirements.
Develop detailed project schedules, budgets, and work plans in coordination with estimating and field operations.

Work with procurement to ensure timely material orders, deliveries, and cost tracking.
Conduct kick-off meetings and ensure project teams understand scope, schedule, and quality expectations.
Execution & Field Oversight
Oversee daily progress and coordinate with site supervisors, foremen, and subcontractors to maintain production targets.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor workmanship, safety, and compliance with contract requirements.
Ensure safety programs and site-specific plans are followed, in coordination with the Health & Safety Department.
Resolve field issues quickly by collaborating with clients, consultants, and the Triumph operations team.
Track change orders, RFIs, and scope adjustments to protect project profitability.
Communication & Client Relations
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and consultants throughout the project lifecycle.
Maintain proactive communication with clients regarding progress, schedule updates, and issue resolution.
Build and sustain strong client relationships to support repeat business and long-term partnerships.
Lead or participate in project meetings, progress updates, and deficiency walkthroughs.
Financial Management
Manage project budgets, cost tracking, and forecasting to ensure profitability.
Review subcontractor and supplier invoices for accuracy and contract compliance.
Prepare and issue progress billing applications in accordance with contract terms.
Monitor cash flow, retention, and change order approvals.
Quality & Closeout
Ensure that roofing systems meet Triumph’s standards and manufacturer specifications.
Manage project closeout documentation, including warranties, as-built drawings, and safety records.
Coordinate post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and best practices.
Qualifications & Experience
Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Civil/Architectural Technology, or equivalent experience.
