Rooms Maintenance Technician

Rooms Maintenance Technician

At Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, exceptional guest experiences are built on attention to detail and a commitment to luxury standards. As a Rooms Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in preserving the quality, appearance, and functionality of our guest rooms and public spaces through comprehensive preventative maintenance and detailed repairs.

This is a full time, permanent position, beginning in Summer 2026.

Starting Rate of Pay: $27.80 per hour

We recognize tenure through our compensation - hourly rates increase after 6 months and then yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $35.95.

Job Duties Include:

• Perform annual preventative maintenance programs within guest rooms, corridors, and public spaces
• Complete detailed repairs, touch-ups, and finishing work to maintain luxury presentation standards
• Inspect rooms and public areas to identify deficiencies and ensure all spaces meet Fairmont quality expectations
• Repair and maintain fixtures, furnishings, hardware, trim, paint, caulking, lighting, and other room components
• Coordinate work efficiently to minimize disruption to guests and hotel operations

• Strong general maintenance and handyperson skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Prior experience using various hand and power tools
