RQ00736 - Specialized IT Consultant - Senior

The City requires a Senior IBM Maximo Manage to provide hands-on functional, configuration, and implementation expertise for the City’s IBM Maximo Manage implementation for the Corporate Real Estate Management Division.

The specialist will support Maximo Manage design, configuration, data migration, and integration design and build, testing, cutover/go-live preparation, stabilization, and knowledge transfer. At minimum, the assignment will focus on facilities maintenance, asset and location management, service requests, work management, preventive maintenance, inspections, mobile work execution, vendor/contractor processes, security, workflow, reporting, and SAP/SAP BTP integration touchpoints.

Deliverables

• Maximo Manage design recommendations, configuration options, and decision notes.
  


• Review comments on configuration workbooks, workflows, security, reports, dashboards, mobile setup, and related implementation artifacts.
  


• Configuration/build validation findings, including issues, gaps, risks, and recommended corrections.
  


• Fit/gap findings, assumptions, risks, and recommended resolution options.
  


• Data mapping, validation, reconciliation, and migration readiness input.
  


• Integration review input for SAP/SAP BTP, MREF/TRIRIGA, APIs, mappings, error handling, monitoring, reconciliation, and testing.
  


• Test scenario input, defect triage notes, root-cause analysis, and configuration validation findings.
  


• Release and environment promotion readiness input across development, test, pre-production, and production environments.
  


• Cutover, go-live, hypercare, and stabilization readiness input.
  


• Knowledge transfer notes, walkthroughs, job aids, or sustainment support documentation.
  


• Regular status updates, issue/risk inputs, blockers, and recommended next steps.
  


• Deliverables may be provided as formal documents, review comments, working-session outputs, annotated artifacts, decision notes, issue logs, or other written outputs accepted by the City Project Manager
  
  

Requirements

• 10+ years hands-on Maximo configuration experience , including direct work in Organization, site setup, Application Designer, Database Configuration, Security Groups and related configuration of Maximo.
  


• Successfully delivered minimum 3 full cycle Maximo implementations as Maximo application consultant (not end user or super user or project manager)
  


• Proven experience configuring end-to-end Work Management in Maximo, including:
  


• SR to WO lifecycle
  


• Job Plans, PMs, and Work Types
  


• Planning, scheduling, execution, and completion
  


• Vendor/contractor work and follow-on work
  


• Deep experience with Maximo data model and setup, including:
  


• Assets, Locations, Classifications, Meters
  


• PM hierarchies and job plan structures
  


• Hands-on data migration experience:
  


• Legacy EAM to Maximo mapping (Assets, Locations, PMs, WOs)
  


• Data validation, reconciliation, and load cycle support
  


• Ability to identify data vs configuration defects
  


• Working knowledge of Maximo Integrations with ERP and has written integration specifications.
  


• Experience driving SIT/UAT, defect triage, and go-live, with the ability to diagnose issues across configuration, data, workflow, and security.
