Job Description - Sales Associate

PROFILE SUMMARY

Wesgroup has an exciting project coming to the Vancouver westside and we are seeking an experienced Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate has experience selling high-end luxury, condos and townhomes, with a focus on pre-completion sales. This is an opportunity to work among a highly skilled sales team, with an in-house developer that is poised for substantial growth over the next several years.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

The Sales Associate will play a vital role in providing a first in class sales experience for Realtors and prospective purchasers. This role is responsible for building relationships with realtors and prospects and creating a sales experience that stands out from the competition, including guiding the prospect in choosing their future home and preparing and writing contracts.

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

  • Utilize phone calls and emails to prospect potential customers and manage a database of leads to ensure efficient processes and thorough follow-up take place with all leads. Document and maintain all verbal and written interactions with Realtors and prospects in the CRM system.
  • Provide engaging presentations to potential customers visiting the presentation center and guide and assist potential customers and Realtors throughout the pre-sale purchasing process.
  • Prepare and process purchasing contracts, liaise with purchasers for contract paperwork, deposit payments, and legal documentation, and ensure all team members are updated on the progress of contract matters.
  • Prepare prospecting reports and daily traffic reports to analyze sales performance and receive deposits and issue deposit receipts accurately.
  • Actively build and leverage business relationships within the real estate community and stay informed with the competitive landscape by visiting various presentation centers. Assist the Sales Manager in preparing for monthly on-site sales and marketing meetings.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in real estate, pre-sales experience is an asset
  • Preferred experience with selling properties in the Vancouver Westside
  • Preferred experience selling luxury/high end properties
  • A strong track record of providing outstanding customer service in prior roles
  • An advanced understanding of the Metro Vancouver residential market
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and competitive real estate environment
  • Secondary language skill and asset; Mandarin or Cantonese
  • Excellent communication skills with a customer-centric approach

EXPECTED COMPENSATION

  • This role is highly commission based.
  • The expected base salary for this role is $42,000 per annum.
  • In addition to the base salary a competitive door commission will be offered.
