As a Sales Associate, Individual Insurance, you will play a key role in promoting individual insurance products and services to independent financial advisors through the independent advisor network (Managing General Agencies). You will also be responsible for developing business relationships with these advisors, as well as with the administrative staff in the Managing General Agency offices.


What you’ll accomplish with us

As a Sales Associate, Individual Insurance, you’ll be at the core of our mission. Here are the main responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Regional Sales Director to develop and execute action plans aimed at achieving sales objectives.
  • Deliver presentations and training sessions (in-person and virtual) on iA products, sales concepts, and digital tools.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with advisors through calls, in-person meetings, and videoconferences.
  • Plan and execute sales campaigns and prospecting initiatives.
  • Participate in events, conferences, and roadshows (including evenings and weekends).
  • Analyze sales reports to identify strategic opportunities.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Is known for their ability to adapt and work flexible hours, including evenings for networking events.
  • Stands out for their excellent communication and presentation skills, both in person and virtually.
  • Demonstrates strong sense of autonomy and proactivity, while effectively collaborating within a team.
  • Is recognized for their ease with technology and digital tools, including illustration software and virtual platforms.
  • Has minimum of 5 years of experience in individual insurance, ideally with strong product knowledge (disability insurance is an asset).
  • Available for frequent travel (personal vehicle required).
  • Advanced proficiency in both French and English is required, as the incumbent will be expected to communicate daily with English- and French-speaking clients and partners across Canada through emails and phone calls.
