The Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Innovation Sales Project Manager to join our team. As the Innovation Sales Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing and driving key innovation projects in close collaboration with the sales and marketing teams across Canada and the US! You will have the opportunity to work with our talented cross-functional teams to develop and execute innovative product concepts that meet consumer demands and drive business growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage innovation projects from concept to launch, collaborating with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, research and development, and operations.
  • Support on trade show needs, managing various program trackers, supporting AOP meeting coordinating and files/schedules.
  • Utilize consumer insights and market research to identify consumer needs and develop product concepts that align with our brand strategy.
  • Work closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements and develop tailored product solutions that drive sales growth.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resources, and deliverables, and manage project execution to ensure successful and timely completion.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement go-to-market strategies for new product launches.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer feedback to identify opportunities for product enhancements and innovation.
  • Provide regular project updates and effectively communicate project status, risks, and opportunities to key stakeholders.
  • Manage project budgets and ensure projects are delivered within budget constraints.
  • Continuously evaluate project performance and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Sales support on various task programs.

 

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in the consumer-packaged goods industry or related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from concept to commercialization.
  • Strong understanding of consumer trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape in the health and wellness industry.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passionate about health and wellness with a strong interest in innovative product development.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
