Job Description - Sales Representative

We are looking for a Sales Representative to join a team in Ottawa East. In this exciting new role you'll be targeting small, medium and large businesses to identify and pursue sales opportunities to develop your territory and your book of business! This position is commissioned base with plenty of opportunity for success!

The Quick Details:
Permanent role from day 1!
Shift: Monday-Friday
Pay: 45K
Ability to travel daily
Bilingual is not mandatory, but it'll be considered an asset

Base Salary of 45K, with total compensation up to 85K in your first year!

Responsibilities
- Grow new service and parts business opportunities within your assigned territory
- Build and maintain successful partnerships with clients
- Grow the company's market share within your assigned territory
- Achieve and exceed sales and performance targets in your assigned territory
- Provide and leverage market and competitor information to expand your book of business
- Put together and negotiate programs, service agreements, and contracts with current and prospective clients
- Participate in product launches, joint sales calls with other departments, vendors, and management
- Participate in on-going training and development programs and seminars

Qualifications
- You speak both English and French, or have a conversation/professional proficiency in French
- You have the drive and ability to travel on a daily basis within your assigned territory
- You come from an industrial, construction or heavy equipment environment
- You are a sales person with a hunter and pound the pavement mentality
- You are client centric and results oriented
- You are curious and strategic when it comes to growing your business
- You are a self-starter, can excel independently as well as within a team
- You are passionate about exceeding targets and objectives
- You have a valid driver's license
