This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Sales Representative - Utilities and Mining (Remote). This role is pivotal in ensuring our customers receive the energy solutions they need, directly impacting their operations. You will help support sustainable energy use while working from home and on-site at customer locations. The position requires a combination of remote engagement and field work, allowing you to foster relationships with clients in various sectors, critical for driving business growth in the utilities and mining industries.
Accountabilities
- Cold calling, account management, presentation development, and procuring deals.
- Track all sales contacts, meetings, opportunities, proposals, and orders.
- Sell equipment rental and services to construction customers.
- Develop and execute an annual territory sales plan.
- Collaborate with operations and logistics teams for project execution.
- Understand power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and/or oil-free air compressors.
- Expect 50-60% travel.
Requirements
- 5-7 years of direct business to business sales experience.
- Experience within the Utilities Sector.
- Proficiency with CRM systems (i.e., Salesforce, Dynamics, or similar).
- Proven track record of achieving assigned sales goals.
- Partnership experience with other business areas (Operations, Fleet, Logistics).
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience.
