Job Description - Salesforce Business Analyst

Job Title: Business Analyst (Product Owner)

Location: Halifax, CA-NS (Onsite 3 days a week)

Duration: 3+ months

Experience Required: 8+ Years Minimum

Job Description:

We are seeking a strong Business Analyst (Product Owner) with a minimum of 8 years of experience to work on gathering reporting and data curation requirements. The ideal candidate will have finance experience as all reporting is finance-related. However, candidates with strong business analysis skills will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the business to gather and elucidate reporting and data curation requirements.
  • Produce AS-IS and TO-BE process flows using Visio, Lucid, etc.
  • Identify gaps and pain points and translate requirements into User Stories and Acceptance Criteria.
  • Gain client sign-off on requirements and prepare for and conduct Sprint End client demos.
  • Collaborate with technical leads, both onshore and offshore.
  • Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills to support project goals.
  • Write Stories from Epics, run refinement sessions, and drive daily stand-ups.
  • Act as a relationship builder among Product Owners, clients, and other project stakeholders.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Current Salesforce Administrator Certification.
  • 8+ years of Business Analysis experience.
  • Experience with Tableau and data analysis.
  • Experience with ERG, Workday.
  • Led or performed a major role in Discovery Workshops.
  • Understanding of Salesforce Best Practices, including when to use configuration vs. custom code vs. App Exchange products.
  • Experience working within Agile development methodology.
  • Experience with JIRA or similar project management tools.
  • 3+ years of Salesforce.com experience, including:
  • Configuration
  • Workflow/Process Builder and Flow
  • Approval Processes
  • Org Wide Sharing Rules
  • Role hierarchy and User Profiles
  • Data migration using Data Loader or Data.io
  • Reports and Dashboards Creation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Salesforce App Builder, Service Cloud, or Sales Cloud Consultant Certification.
  • Agile certification (SAFe, IIBA, PMI, etc.).
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of CRM functional knowledge.
  • Prior experience with multiple system integrations and data field mapping.
  • Experience in User Acceptance Testing and End-User Training.
