  • High School Degree or equivalent;

  • A minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar role;

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team;

  • Comfortable interacting with community members by phone or in person;

  • Demonstrates autonomy and resourcefulness;

  • Strong ability to effectively communicate in English and in Inuktitut (oral and written);

  • Having a driver’s license;

  • Good computer skills, and knowing the Microsoft 365 Suite is an asset;

  • Being a social person;

  • Being empathetic and community-oriented, with a focus on supporting applicants who may lack digital access;

  • Position reserved for Nunavut Inuit Beneficiary candidates.

  • Actively participate in the organization, representation and delivery of AEM in various types of community meetings/events (family day, community events, Hamlet meetings, consultation meetings, mining awareness programs, follow-up on donation, etc.);

  • Ensure community members have access to different kinds of information regarding AEM operations;

  • Provide Agnico Eagle with relevant community feedback and/or information such as issues, challenges, complaints that may arise and/or any relevant information related to the community;

  • Support the Sanajiksanut recruitment team in the hiring process by guiding jobseekers towards the appropriate resources;

  • Support jobseekers by guiding them to resources and coaching them through the application process, especially those facing barriers like limited phone or digital access.
