Role and Accountabilities:
About the role:
At Compass, you will work as a School Age Educator alongside some of the most passionate, caring, and dedicated educators in the industry. You will spend your time engaging, connecting, and learning alongside children, families, community partners, and co-workers. You are passionate about early learning and care, emergent curriculum, and lifelong learning. You are energetic, resourceful, and creative in your efforts to create learning opportunities, build connections, and engage with children and families.
Some accountabilities associated with the role include:
This position will work in a kindergarten or school-age classroom in a split-shift role and full-day shifts during March break, Winter break, PA Days, and Summer Programming. Hours will be based on program needs and funding. Shift start and end times will fluctuate within the team and will fall within the program hours of 7 am to 9 am and 3 pm to 6 pm, with some additional hours during the split period.
