School Custodian

Sturgeon Lake Central School is seeking a School Custodian

The Custodian shall:

• Follow established cleaning and sanitation schedules (daily, weekly, seasonal)


• Sanitize high-touch areas and maintain hygiene standards


• Maintain entrances, walkways, and outdoor areas (including snow/ice management as required)


• Empty waste and recycling and maintain supply levels of consumables


• Maintain basic records (cleaning logs, maintenance reports, supply tracking)


• Ensure compliance with WHMIS and safe handling of cleaning products


• Conduct regular facility checks and report maintenance concerns


• Monitor and report facility issues


• Support event set-up/take-down as assigned


• Support building security checks as assigned
