Job Description - Scrum Master

ARC Business Solutions Inc. is a customer-oriented information technology solution provider with proven abilities to incorporate strategy, creativity and technical aspects into business solutions. Service delivery is focused in four main technology solution verticals: Systems Delivery, Enterprise Information Management, Training and Managed Services; with industry expertise in Energy, Utilities, Government, Financial Services and the Public Sector.

ARC Business Solutions Inc. is currently seeking individuals with experience as a Scrum Master for immediate opportunities. This role is a one year term in Edmonton.

ROLE: Scrum Master

Qualifications:

Active professional Scrum Master certification
Knowledge of various software development methodologies (i.e. agile, waterfall, scrum, Kanban, etc.)
2 years experience delivering training sessions via web-based interactive technology i.e.
2 years experience leading and facilitating key agile ceremonies.
2 years experience leading and mentoring team(s) in agile principles, policies and procedures.
2 years experience planning work that aligns to product owner priorities
2 years experience with Agile methodology.
5 years 5xperience with software development processes, and all associated best practices, methods, standards, tools and policies.
2 years experience working on agile software development and modern, service design based product delivery comparable in size and complexity for a large organization such as state, provincial, or federal government or a private company with 5000 or more employees or for a startup or small business addressing a complex challenge at scale.
5 years directly related experience in web service or development.
5 years experience developing and maintaining positive stakeholder relationships across the organization, including executive level.
2 years experience working in or for the public sector.
1 year experience working with teams that also apply UX design, service design, design thinking, or human centered design approaches.

Degree designations (e.g., Bachelor of Science, Computing Science, Engineering), from recognized universities is a desirable criteria in our selection process.
