Security

St. Joseph’s Continuing Care Centre is currently seeking a part-time security with a guaranteed of 44 hours bi-weekly with every second weekend.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $24.57 to $26.35 per hour, with a mix of 7.5-hour and 12-hour shifts. Additionally, you will have access to the HOOPP Pension Plan and our Employee Assistance Program (EAP).

Description:

• Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.


• Obtains help by sounding alarms, initiating codes and calling authorities.


• Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; and informing violators of policy and procedures.


• Controls traffic by directing drivers.Monitoring all parking lots and parking equipment to ensure safe operations and adherence with parking rules.


• Completes reports every shift by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.


• Maintains environment by monitoring building functions and initiating work orders as needed.


• Performs other duties as assigned.
