Security Assistant Supervisor (2IC) - Chilliwack - Full Time

We are currently recruiting for a Second in Command (Assistant Supervisor) for a high profile client in Chilliwack. 

The position will see you working Monday to Friday, 1400 to 2200

Payrate: $25.03/hour

Your key responsibilities include…

• CCTV Monitoring
• Running reports and updating systems are required
• Answering and directing phone enquiries
• Maintain up-to-date Post Orders and Site Safety, Risk, and Quality Assurance assessments
• Submit reports, time sheets, and staff evaluations as per deadlines
• Assist with training and scheduling of Commissionaires
• Leading through empowerment, and monitoring staff morale, discipline, and progress
• Ensure team maintains a professional standard of conduct, dress and deportment
• Reporting to the site supervisor and operations management for further duties as necessary
• Interior and exterior patrolling

Your Must-Haves: 

• A minimum 2-3 years Supervisor experience
• Over 5+ Years security experience
• Valid BC Security Licence 
• Have been living in Canada for a minimum of 5 years for clearance purposes
• Previous CCTV Monitoring experience
• Demonstrated interest and experience in serving the public
• Positive and professional attitude, with strong customer service skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, and equipment such as faxes and photocopiers
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to handle emergency situations in a calm and professional manner
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure
• Physically able to stand for long periods and conduct extensive interior patrols of floors and stairwells
• Fluent English written, verbal and reading skills
