Location: Various Sites (including Western Forest Products Mills)
Wage: $20.50/hr - $21.75hr
Shift Times: Various shifts
Reports to: Client Service Manager

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Control access to the site and perform regular security patrols.
Proactively respond to and resolve emergencies, incidents, and conflicts.
Conduct foot patrols to ensure site integrity and safety.
Accurately document and report all incidents and daily activities.
Communicate promptly with the Client Service Manager regarding concerns or issues.
Demonstrate strong multitasking, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
Follow all occupational health and safety regulations and site-specific procedures.
Maintain a professional presence and uphold the highest safety standards.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Must possess a valid B.C. security workers licence.
You have excellent problem solving skills and professional report writing.
You can work under pressure and have a calm demeanor.
You are proficient at operating equipment such as cell phones and two-way radios.

Able to work independently, especially in the evenings and overnight.
Provide superior customer service to clients and general public.
Provide access control and security foot patrols as needed.
Proactively respond to and resolve emergency situations and conflicts.
Complete evacuation and emergency response procedures.
Communicate problems or concerns to the supervisor.
Possess excellent multi-tasking, problem solving, prioritizing and organizational abilities.
