Security Guard - La Casa Resort

• BC Security Worker's License 
• Basic First Aid Certificate (OFA 1 or equivalent) 
• Class 5 Driver's License with a clean abstract 
• Tracktik security reporting system knowledge preferred
• Strong observation, communication, and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions quickly
• Physically able to walk, stand, and conduct patrols for extended periods
• Proficient in basic report writing and use of mobile or digital devices
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• 1-2 years of previous security experience preferred 

• Conduct mobile and/or foot patrols of assigned areas, including buildings, grounds, parking lots, and perimeter.
• Monitor for signs of theft, trespass, vandalism, fire, safety hazards, or suspicious behavior.
• Report and document all incidents, irregularities, and safety concerns in accordance with company and client policies.
• Respond to alarms, emergencies, and calls for assistance calmly and professionally.
• Enforce site-specific rules, client policies, and safety protocols.
• Lock and unlock doors, gates, and access points as required by patrol route or schedule.
• Perform wellness checks, site status reports, and provide escort services if requested.
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a strong security presence.
• Work collaboratively with emergency services, law enforcement, and internal teams when needed.
• Maintain logs, complete digital or written reports, and use radios, phones, or tablets to communicate with dispatch and supervisors.

• Work is performed both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
• May involve night, weekend, and holiday shifts
