What does a security Guard in Winnipeg do ?
Maintain a safe and Secure environment Access control of entry ways and exit points using equipment at your disposal. Perform patrols on site according to schedule to determine any unusual activity using G-track device. CCTV monitoring. Prevent unauthorized access, identifying/ reporting any theft or vandalism on site. Keeping a record of visitors/ employees/ contractors entering the plant through security office. Observing any possible threats by camera views on different sites. Take actions on new card requests and process the replacement or lost card requests. Run fingerprint screening for the new employees and contractors getting in business with Canada Post. Contacting and sharing information by the means of Radio wireless technology. Create/ modify work orders with building management and contractors. Keeping all the documents organized and sorted for easy access to key details. Providing Access Cards Enforce Property regulations and city Bi- Laws on the client's site. Performing Interior, Exterior Patrols Protect the client's assets relative to theft, assault, fire and other safety issues. Complete Daily reports and Incident Reports Provide Excellent customer service.
Qualifications to become a Security Guard in Winnipeg ?
Good verbal and written communication skills Previous experience in the security industry (asset) Must be excellent with Technology Valid Manitoba Security Guard License. Customer service oriented Must be able to pass Reliability Clearance Must be able to work Overnight Shifts Leadership and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a stressful environment Security guard must be able to go through reliability clearance.
