Security Guard-Warehouse Operations

We are seeking highly motivated security personnel for positions within a physical security environment specializing in the protection of client in Milton, Ontario. You will have experience within an industrial environment within a warehouse or distribution center or a similar sector where you are responsible for protecting assets. You have strong customer service acumen with ability to resolve issues with a diverse background of individuals including visitors, truck drivers, contractors and client employees. You are able to perform internal and external patrols in cold and hot conditions.

Position Overview:

Location: Milton, Ontario

Available Shift Times:  Sunday to Wednesday 2000-0800

Thursday to Saturday 2000-0800 Sunday 2000 to 0200

 Payrate: $18.40/hr 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform access control provision duties, verify visitor badges and employee badges.
• Escort medical staff including paramedics, police and firefighters when required.
• Respond to medical emergencies and be prepared to perform CPR and AED if needed.
• Unlock and lock doors for access by authorized persons.
• Follow security breach procedures by notifying supervisors or other appropriate personnel when security breaches occur.
• Perform foot patrols inside the building on multiple floors and outside the building at Ground level. 
• Tech savvy, working on multiple systems. 
• Assist client employees with inquiries

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Valid Ontario Security License.
• Valid First Aid and CPR Certification.
• 1+ years of Security experience within a warehouse or corporate security.
• Strong understanding of security protocols and procedures, including emergency response
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Team player and outstanding customer service abilities
• Must be available to work various shifts based on business needs.
