Senior Account Executive
(Strategic Accounts – Banking & Insurance)
Location: Montreal, Quebec , Canada (Bilingual: French & English required)
Experience: 8+ years in enterprise sales / account management
Overview
We are seeking a highly strategic and relationship-driven Senior Account Executive to manage and grow a portfolio of large, complex enterprise accounts within the Banking and Insurance sector. This role is focused on deepening customer relationships, driving long-term value, and expanding our footprint in Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions.
The ideal candidate is a consultative seller with a proven track record of managing high-value accounts, navigating complex organizations, and identifying opportunities for upsell and cross-sell.
Key Responsibilities
· Own and manage a portfolio of large, strategic enterprise accounts in Quebec, but not limited too Quebec.
· Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with executive stakeholders and key decision-makers
· Develop and execute account plans to drive growth, retention, and customer success
· Identify and pursue upsell and cross-sell opportunities across IAM solutions and services
· Act as a strategic advisor to customers, aligning solutions to their security, compliance, and digital transformation goals
· Navigate complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders, business units, and technical requirements
· Collaborate cross-functionally with pre-sales, product, and marketing team
· Forecast accurately and manage pipeline activity within CRM systems
· Stay informed on industry trends, particularly in cybersecurity and identity
Qualifications
· 8+ years of experience in enterprise sales or account management
· Proven success managing and growing large, complex accounts with multi-million dollar revenue responsibility (required)
· Demonstrated experience navigating complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders
· Strong track record in strategic account planning, expansion, and customer retention
· Experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM), cybersecurity, or SaaS is strongly preferred
· Experience in Banking and Insurance is an asset, but not required
· Excellent negotiation, communication, and executive presentation skills
· Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven
Language Requirements
· Fluent in French and English (spoken and written) — mandatory for supporting Quebec-based clients
