Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee general ledger accounting, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all financial data.
  
• Prepare, analyze, and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), and other regulatory requirements.
  
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and account analysis to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
  
• Lead month -end and year -end closing processes, including journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
  
• Ensure compliance with SOX (Sarbanes -Oxley Act) controls and assist with internal audits related to financial reporting.
  
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities through detailed analysis and reporting.
  
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including vendor payments, collections, and cash management strategies.
  
• Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or similar platforms to streamline operations and enhance reporting accuracy.
  
• Prepare regulatory reports and assist with external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  
• Perform technical accounting research on complex transactions involving non -profit accounting, governmental accounting, or other specialized areas as needed.
