TalentWorld is recruiting a Senior Accounts Receivable Lead in Calgary, Alberta for one of our clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead Accounts Receivable team, ensuring accurate processing of invoices and payments.
• Improve AR processes through automation and workflow enhancements.
• Manage credit risk, set credit limits, and oversee collections efforts.
• Collaborate with departments to address customer inquiries and resolve billing issues.
• Prepare reports on AR performance and manage month-end close activities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain relationships with external partners and stay updated on industry trends.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance from a reputable university.
• Professional certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or equivalent is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within Accounts Receivable.
• Proficient in utilizing large ERP systems such as SAP ECC, PeopleSoft, and MSS Oracle.
• Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, including experience with GAAP and IFRS standards.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions like pivot tables and V-Lookups.
• Proven track record of successful change management and process improvement initiatives.
• Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to mentor, motivate, and develop team members.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented with a keen analytical mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

• Salary: $100k - $140k
• Benefits: 40 hours weekly, Permanent, Full-time, Onsite
• Schedule: 8:00AM to 5:00PM, Monday to Friday
