Certain Affinity is a game developer in Texas, based out of Austin, and we have a growing presence in Toronto, Canada. We're best known for co-developing numerous AAA FPS games, though now we are creating compelling new games of our own. We're always on the lookout for amazing talent to join our team.
As a Senior Advanced Outsource Manager at Certain Affinity, you will drive our strategy with external outsource studios and coordinate with them to deliver high-quality art assets on time and on budget. You’ll need to have extensive game development experience in game art, as well as strong leadership and organizational skills.
Responsibilities

Define and own the end-to-end art outsourcing process for a AAA project, including vendor sourcing, onboarding, relationship management, and long-term partnerships.
Manage external art production for a wide range of asset types, including concept art, environments, characters, props, vehicles, VFX, and animation.
Serve as the primary point of contact between external partners and internal art, design, and production teams.
Work closely with internal leads and the art director to define asset requirements, technical specifications, style guidelines, and quality benchmarks.
Build and maintain clear documentation for outsourcing pipelines, workflows, and best practices.
Coordinate reviews, feedback, iteration, and final approval of outsourced assets.
Track schedules, milestones, and deliverables to ensure assets are delivered on time and to quality.
Proactively identify risks, bottlenecks, and quality issues, and drive solutions in collaboration with partners and internal teams.

Requirements

Proven experience as an Art Outsourcing Manager, Art Producer, or similar role within the games industry, ideally on AAA titles.
Strong understanding of modern game art pipelines, including world building, modeling, texturing, rigging, and animation.
Recent demonstrated expertise in at least one area of game art content.
Demonstrated experience working with external studios and distributed teams.
Strong communication and organizational skills, managing the production of art assets from multiple external partners.
High level of visual quality awareness and the ability to give clear, actionable feedback.
Familiarity with game engines and toolsets like Unity and Unreal.

Extra Credit

Shipped one or more AAA titles in the last 3 years
Experience with Unreal 5
Experience mentoring other artists
