Senior Associate, Marketing and Communications




Salary: $80-90,000 a year plus bonus


Expected Start Date: June 2026

We’re seeking a Senior Associate, Marketing and Communications to deliver strong client communications, public communications and marketing materials. If you are an experienced communicator who gains satisfaction from helping readers to understand complex ideas, helping teammates to articulate their thoughts and helping the team to meet goals, this job may be perfect for you.


 


ROLE DESCRIPTION


The Senior Associate, Marketing and Communications works across all teams to communicate the impact of our work and our impact portfolios to our clients and prospective clients – delivering clear, compelling communications materials. The work is varied, involving planning, writing, editing, designing, analyzing, amplifying and marketing. A creative, competent behind-the-scenes doer, the Senior Associate, Marketing and Communications both leads projects and learns from others, shares skills and gains new ones, works on their own and with others. Experience with marketing technology, data infrastructure and AI-enabled workflows will contribute to the evolution of Rally’s communications capabilities. In all cases, they’re held accountable to deliver quality work that meets audience needs and our needs.


 


PRIMARY DUTIES


The primary duties of the Senior Associate, Marketing and Communications are focused on client communications, public communications and marketing.


 


Client Communications


Key tasks:



  • Support the Manager, Marketing and Communications to work alongside portfolio managers and the impact management team to plan and iterate annual impact reports

  • Plan, write, edit and design quarterly and annual reports for clients

  • Plan, write, edit and design quarterly and annual reports regarding Rally pooled products

  • Plan, write and edit reports for The Government or Canada and LPs regarding the work of Realize Capital Partners



  • Implement scalable, technology-enabled reporting workflows (e.g. automation, AI-assisted generation and personalization)  



Public Communications


Key tasks:



  • Create web content, undertake web development

  • Create social media content

  • Create a bimonthly newsletter

  • Support all teams by designing and editing a range of smaller reports, presentations and documents

  • Implement enhancements to our visual identity, and support colleagues to operationalize those enhancements

  • Gather, analyze and report on communications metrics


 


Marketing


Key tasks:



  • Support delivery of the marketing strategy

  • Create new marketing materials – digital and web-based – for new Rally pooled products

  • Create advertising (for social, and for sector newsletters and magazine)

  • Showcase our leadership in impact portfolio management and impact measurement, through new pitch decks, new whitepapers and reports and creative visualizations

  • Increase our presence on social media, particularly during key events for the team

  • Enhance Rally’s presence during key industry events and moments


 


QUALIFICATIONS


On your resume, we ask that you demonstrate the following:



  • Training, a degree and/or at least five years of relevant work experience in communications, editing, marketing or similar, preferably within asset management, investment management or financial services

  • Experience with reader-focused, reader-responsive communications

  • Interest in and some knowledge of impact investing, institutional investments and/or investor relations

  • Experience delivering public-facing engaging communications/marketing as well as client-facing communications

  • Experience analyzing data/information and communicating that analysis

  • Design experience

  • Web development experience

  • Proficiency in English; proficiency in French is considered an asset

  • Legally able to work in Canada without restrictions
