With an Executive team that has over thirty years ofindustry experience of leading the way, we’ve come a long way fromour first customer in 2011—but we’ve just scratched the surface ofwhat we want to accomplish for our customers.The role:Reporting to the Manager, Data Engineering the Senior BusinessIntelligence Engineer will champion the design and development ofanalytical data assets and interactive BI solutions – reports,dashboards, and other business decision tools – that will supportstrategic decisions and operational performance monitoring across allfunctional areas within the organization (e.g. Marketing, Sales, CustomerGrowth & Retention, Product etc.).The purpose of the role is to ensure that all the information thestakeholders need to be successful in their respective roles is readilyavailable and easy to use, thereby enabling and driving self-serviceanalytics for business users.As a Business Intelligence Engineer, you willDesign and develop scalable and efficient data models that supportbusiness requirements and enable accurate reporting and analysis.Work closely with the Analytics team in implementing key businessmetrics in the Data Model and BI tools for tracking and reportingpurposes.Create and maintain high-quality reports and dashboards that provideactionable insights to business users.Develop and maintain data pipelines to ensure reliable and efficientdata extraction, transformation, and loading processes.Manage and administer our BI platform, including user access, datagovernance, performance tuning, and security.To be successful, you should have:Extensive experience in the architecture and development of datamodelling and semantic layers, with familiarity with medallionarchitecture.Expert-level SQL programming skillsExperience in building and maintaining data pipelines using DBTAdvanced proficiency in designing and constructing dashboards utilizingdata visualization tools like Tableau or equivalent.Solid understanding of complex relational data structuresTo be proactive and relentless. You are comfortable seeking informationindependently, solving conceptual problems, corralling resources anddelivering results.To have a strong and confident communication style.
