Senior Composition Artist

Come join the Mercury Filmworks team in an exciting position as a key player on a new production. We are looking for a Full time Temporary experienced and talented Senior Compositing Artist to join an upcoming exciting production.  

Duties and Responsibilities 

• Become familiar with the tools, techniques and pipeline within the studio. 

• Work with Compositing Department Head and Supervisor to interpret colour keys and lighting style of the production. 

• Meet production deadlines and communicate clearly with production management. 

• Be expected to meet the level of quality required. 

• Work with upstream departments to ensure elements are being delivered correctly. 

• Communicate and work to resolve inefficiencies with the Supervisor. 

Qualifications 

• 3-5 years of professional experience in 2D compositing. 

• Proven experience of Lighting/Rendering/Compositing on CG productions. 

• Strong working knowledge of 2D compositing preferably including Harmony other compositing software would be an asset but not required.  

• A strong creative portfolio. 

• A strong, measurable track record in delivering against project goals. 

• Excellent attention to detail
  and ability to follow
  direction. 

• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment. 

• Deadline driven.
