Position: Senior DevOps Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced DevOps / Cloud Engineer to design, build, and support scalable cloud environments that power modern digital products. This role focuses heavily on AWS-based solutions, automation, security, and the implementation of cloud-native contact center technologies. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and Amazon Connect solutions, along with strong experience in large-scale enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and support scalable cloud environments for digital products
  


• Monitor and optimize performance, ensuring high availability and reliability
  


• Implement robust security safeguards to protect data and systems
  


• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for cloud-based deployments
  


• Build and manage AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, IAM)
  


• Design and implement Amazon Connect cloud-based contact center solutions
  


• Configure call flows, agent experience, call recording, metrics, and analytics
  


• Manage AWS services (e.g., Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, RDS, Kinesis, Glue)
  


• Develop scripts and automation using languages such as Python, Bash, JavaScript, etc.
  


• Implement monitoring and logging solutions (CloudWatch, CloudTrail)
  


• Ensure performance, scalability, and security of production cloud systems
  


• Provide architectural recommendations and continuous improvement strategies
  


• Evaluate new technologies and tools for enterprise adoption
  


• Support integration through APIs and container technologies such as Docker
  

Qualifications

Technical Skills

• 10+ years of experience in software development and delivery
  


• 5+ years of hands-on AWS cloud experience
  


• Strong expertise with AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, KMS, Glue, Kinesis, and Amplify
  


• Experience with Amazon Connect, including IVR, workflows, call flows, and analytics
  


• Proficiency with AWS CLI, SDK, CloudFormation, and IAM
  


• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Maven, etc.)
  


• Expertise in scripting languages (Python, Bash, Java, JavaScript, Node.js, etc.)
  


• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and DevOps tools (Git, Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
  


• Strong understanding of cloud security models (identity, network, encryption)
  


• Experience with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, CloudTrail)
  

Core Experience

• Experience creating technical documentation and system design models
  


• Hands-on experience with environment setup tools (JIRA, Confluence, Jenkins)
  


• Experience integrating APIs and web architectures
  


• Knowledge of IVR systems and workflow automation
  


• Ability to design and manage operational automation tools
  


• Experience with large-scale, complex IT systems
  

Domain / Public Sector Experience

• 5+ years implementing contact center solutions
  


• Experience working in public sector environments or similar enterprise settings
  


• Familiarity with enterprise architecture standards and methodologies
  


• Experience delivering solutions aligned with structured project governance models
