As a Senior DITechnical Consultant

You Will…

·Provide programming, analysis, design and implementation expertise for organization’s solutions and platforms.

·Provide independent judgment regarding implementation methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria. Works on multiple projects concurrently.

·Act as a project leader in some projects, as technical expert in most projects, and may assume supervisor's duties in project manager's absence.

·Interacts with other consultants, project managers, and applicable departments.

·Act as a single point of project technical contact for R&D, Technical Support and internal stakeholders such as Project Managers, Business Unit Managers and Senior Management.

·Provide technical/architectural alternatives to large client engagements for broader issues such as standards conformance, performance and acceptance criteria.

·Communicate effectively with both the team members and customers both in the written and spoken form

·Ensure up-to-date knowledge through self-motivated approach to continuous learning.

·Actively participate in company knowledge-sharing activities.

·Identify, verify, and resolve technical anomalies and provides global design and coding changes.

·Coordinate development-level, system testing and acceptance testing of applications and proposes design changes when applicable.

·Design/Customize data models as required for the solution/platform.

·Lead the technical design, coding, and documentation program code for entire applications.

·Author specification documents working with other developers as required. Documents requirements and other technical documents according to the implementation methodology.

·Work with project manager and users in defining and documenting requirements.

·Ensure that application design meets specific client needs. Provides architectural direction to clients as they implement business solutions and defines technical, application and data architectures.

·May prepare or provide input to consulting services proposals.

·Design and authors help screens, menus, indices to ensure ease-of-use and consistency.

·Lead the technical design, programming and code documentation for entire applications.

·Prepare Data Models as required for the application.

··Prepare specification documents for other developers as required. Document requirements and other technical documents according to a methodology.

·Mentor other consultants as required.

·May provide presentations on project under development or projects completed

·Focus on the development and enforcement of design standards for Consulting services applications.

·Perform other duties as assigned.

You Have…

·Strong knowledge of common hardware environments and operating systems; Knowledge of UNIX, and Windows environments preferred.

·Strong understanding of connectivity issues and connectivity protocols, ability to use and configure software on multiple operating systems.

·Knowledge of and experience with:

·One or more databases including Oracle, DB2, Microsoft SQL Server, Informix, Sybase.

·Client server, and multi-tier environments.

·Job scheduling and event/exception management.

·Security, file systems, and common network practices.

·BEA Weblogic, Websphere, J2EE, web development.

·Demonstrated excellent problem-solving skills.

·Excellent conceptual and architecture understanding of solutions such as: Data Warehousing, Data Mining, Risk Management, Customer Intelligence, Analytical intelligence, Data Intelligenceand Applications Development. In particular, the applicability of these solutions to the Financial Services, Telco, Manufacturing, retail.

·Ability to conceptualize client needs and translate into specific implementation strategies.

·Experience in technical management of small teams.

·Experience with software design methodologies.

·Experience with architecting and customizing software solutions.

·Working knowledge of GUI technologies based on Java and .Net (Microsoft). Designs and authors help screens, menus, indices to ensure ease-of-use and consistency.

·Experience with testing and validation techniques in software engineering.

·Good written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

·Ability to understand and customize software solutions.

·Ability to assess client requirements in a sales setting and suggest technical alternatives.

·Ability to work independently and with a team.

·Bachelor's degree preferably in Engineering or Computer Science or Masters degree in Statistics.

·Minimum 8 years of work leading technical teams and designing complex multi-tier server applications with BI tools and technologies .

·Ability to travel.

Skill set: (DI) Data Integration

·Strong working knowledge of data management tools.

·Strong working knowledge of industry standard third party tools such as schedulers, data modeling tools, and industry standard OS services.

·Strong knowledge of DW/BI concepts, applications, and supporting data structures.

·Experience with Data Modeling.

·Strong work experience with Master Data Management, Customer Data Integration and leading edge data quality tools and techniques.

·Ability to understand data management/data quality needs of the client and translate them into a technical solution usingBI tools and technologies.

·Strong working knowledge of batch processing using DI tools and operationalizing technical solutions.

·Ability to design job streams and managing dependencies between job components.

·Ability to design/develop reports and information portals for consumption by the user community.

·At least 8 years of work experience leading technical teams and designing complex multi-tier server applications with BI tools and technologies.
