Senior Editor.

Acre Post Production is a boutique post production company looking to hire an experienced

Senior Editor.

Main Duties

- Select and assemble sequences for client facing projects.

- Understand the scope of, and accurately estimate the cost to carry out post-production

services on a project to project basis.

- Assemble and collaborate with a team of professionals in various post-production

disciplines, such as colour, sound design/mix, VFX, and motion graphics/animation.

- Upkeep file management for each project to ensure files are easily accessible, internally

and externally.

- Collaborate with key creatives, addressing notes and feedback, and providing creative

and technical inputs/solutions to advance the project.

- Prepare and package files for external partners.

- Prepare final deliverables.

- Occasionally perform various post-production operations such as colour grading, VFX,

sound design and mixing.

- Occasionally participate in production operations, such as conceptualizing, supporting

camera operation, onset directing and editing.

Requirements and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be experienced with various editing programs and have a strong

portfolio demonstrating their skills in post-production and understanding of filmmaking.

- 2-year college diploma or greater from a post-secondary institution.

- 2-3 years experience as an editor at a Marketing agency or a Video production

company.

- Extensive experience with Adobe Suite.

- High proficiency in After Effects.

- High proficiency in Davinci Resolve (for colour).

- Advanced knowledge of video formats, codecs and colour spaces/profiles.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday


• Weekends as needed
