Senior Financial Specialist for Chief Financial Officer - Contract - 17362

About the Opportunity

Our Government client is seeking a Senior Financial Specialist to support the Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The CFO needs assistance in finding solutions to address ongoing operations of Financial Management and Treasury Board (TB) Submission. The branch is currently dealing with an unprecedented workload and has recently experienced several long-term absences at the executive level. These operations are critical, with deadlines imposed by government requirements.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Working with Senior Executives such as Director General, Directors, Executive Committees, and Investment Committees
• Provide expert advice to the CFO
• Provide expert advice on core corporate functions in finance
• Establishing the work plan activities aligned with the Business Line and Commissioner priorities

About You

The successful candidate will have the following:

• Must have 10+ years' experience in Federal Public Sector
• 10+ years as a Senior Financial Specialist
• Secret clearance
