Senior Fit Specialist

Our client, an international denim manufacturer, is in search of a Fit Specialist to add to their team! Known for taking a stand to uplifting women, creating comfortable, stretchy denim, this company prioritizes products that flatter every body type. Responsibilities:

• Developing new pattern blocks.
• Assist design team to define standards, construction and sewing details for prototypes.
• Measuring, fitting, commenting, and establishing corrections during fit sessions for prototypes, fit samples, revised fit samples, pre production samples, TOP Samples (when needed), and bulk production samples (when needed).
• Responsible for approvals of all pre production samples.
• Responsible for the grading process for styles.
• Analyze measurements of bulk production reports and provide comments for final sign off.
• Approve bulk production, with the QA director and Production manager.
• Analyze customer/sale associate fit complaints, make recommendations and implement required adjustments.

Requirements:

• Minimum 6+ years’ experience in apparel industry
• Proficient in Excel and Illustrator
• Experience and strong knowledge of fabrics, garment construction, denim, cut & sew, and sweaters.
• Excellent communication and interaction skills
• Self-motivated, detail oriented and highly organized
• Bilingual
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be production oriented with ability to identify, analyze, and resolve fit issues
• Works well with a team
