About the Role:


Charter is seeking a senior Healthcare Solutions & Advisory Lead to support the growth and execution of our healthcare advisory and consultancy services. This role operates at the intersection of business strategy, clinical workflows, and enabling technology. The successful candidate will lead client-facing discovery and advisory engagements across complex healthcare and public-sector environments, translating organizational objectives into structured, implementation-ready solution pathways.


 
Working closely with healthcare leadership, sales, engineering, and service delivery teams, you will guide structured workshops, develop executive-level assessments and roadmaps, and ensure clear progression from strategic intent to execution-ready programs.


 
The ideal candidate brings experience operating within complex, regulated healthcare environments and is comfortable engaging executive, clinical, and operational stakeholders. You combine structured analytical thinking with strong facilitation skills and the ability to bring clarity to ambiguity.



Responsibilities 



  • Lead engagement with healthcare and public-sector clients to understand business, clinical, and operational objectives and associated capital planning priorities

  • Lead and facilitate structured discovery activities including workshops, interviews, and requirements analysis

  • Translate complex client needs into clear, decision-ready advisory outputs and solution approaches that align to sequenced, multi-domain investment roadmaps • Lead and support solution development and positioning in collaboration with advisory, sales, engineering, and service delivery teams

  • Lead and contribute to proposals, Statements of Work, and client-facing solution documentation

  • Ensure clear progression from client intent through to execution-ready solutions

  • Conduct and support assessments, maturity evaluations, and roadmap development exercises

  • Provide senior-level guidance on governance, privacy, security, and regulatory considerations relevant to healthcare environments

  • Support smooth transition from advisory and pre-sales engagements into delivery through high quality documentation and knowledge transfer

  • Maintain and grow trusted relationships with client stakeholders across IT, clinical, and operational domains

  • Develop and maintain executive-grade client deliverables including assessments, executive summaries, and decision records suitable for senior leadership and board-level review where appropriate



Required Qualifications and Experience:



  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Health Informatics, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Seven or more years of experience in healthcare IT, advisory, consultancy, or public-sector technology environments within complex, multi-stakeholder healthcare or regulated settings

  • Demonstrated experience operating at the intersection of business, clinical, and technical perspectives

  • Experience working within healthcare or other regulated environments, and familiarity with healthcare privacy, security, and regulatory requirements

  • Background in solution architecture, enterprise advisory, business analysis, informatics, or consulting roles

  • Proven experience supporting complex, multi-stakeholder engagements with senior audiences

  • Experience working in or alongside advisory firms, value-added resellers, systems integrators, managed service providers, or consultancies is considered a strong asset

  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning


 


 


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities



  • Strong ability to translate ambiguity and complexity into clear, decision-ready guidance

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and executive-level communication skills

  • Demonstrated understanding of healthcare operational environments and constraints

  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with pragmatic execution considerations

  • Strong analytical, documentation, and presentation skills suitable for executive audiences

  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent advisory engagements and priorities

  • High degree of professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills across technical, clinical, and executive audiences
