Senior Layout Artist

We’re looking for a highly skilled and creative Senior Layout Artists to join our team on a fast paced, action-packed adult animation production! This role focuses on strong artistic skills, in-depth understanding of Adobe Photoshop and experience with Blender. A collaborative mindset will help in making this show standout for years to come. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Is present & engaged with the Layout team  

• Quick to ask for and receive feedback 

• Demonstrates a strong eye for composition and perspective 

• Takes initiative to communicate with their supervisor and team  

• Is mindful of what balancing quality/quantity looks like  

• Reads notes, breakdowns, storyboards, other documents available per production  

Skills & Qualifications: 

• 5+ years of 2D layout experience. 

• Portfolio should reflect strong knowledge of design principles, draftsmanship, and understanding of perspective 

• Demonstrate that they are consistently present & solution focused as a team member 

• Adaptability to new support tools  

• Ability to interpret and transform concepts into compelling and dynamic visual display of wonder 

About the Project: This is a temporary contract position on an adult-themed, action-packed animated production. You'll be part of a passionate, creative team working to deliver bold, exciting FX to hit home the dynamic storytelling. Deadlines are hard locked and working as a team is key in meeting those deadlines. Currently we are only considering applicants who reside in Ontario.
