What you'll do:
Talent Development & Performance Management
- Performance Review Cycles: Assist in coordinating end-to-end performance review processes, including tool/form administration, tracking completion rates, sending employee reminders, and troubleshooting user issues.
- Goal Setting & Alignment: Partner with managers and employees to guide best practices for goal writing (e.g., SMART goals) and ensure organizational objectives align down to the team level.
- HRBP Collaboration: Work alongside HR Business Partners and line managers to identify performance trends, capability gaps, and development opportunities across business units.
Talent Reviews & Succession Planning
- Process Execution: Support the preparation, logistics, and data compilation for routine talent review and calibration sessions.
- Data Management: Maintain tracking lists for high-potential employees, talent matrices, and succession planning documentation to support leadership decision-making.
- Follow-Through: Assist in tracking development plans and actionable outcomes generated from talent review and succession discussions.
On-Site Facilitation, Content & Process
- Workshop Facilitation: Deliver engaging, on-site presentations and co-facilitate training workshops focused on performance management, goal setting, and professional development.
- Instructional Design & Materials: Utilize Google Workspace and Microsoft Office (specifically PowerPoint/Slides) to create visually compelling presentation decks, job aids, manager guides, and training collaterals.
- Project Management & Communication: Proactively communicate project timelines, track process milestones across the business, and maintain internal knowledge base documentation for HR and L&D initiatives.
What we're looking for:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Experience: 4–7 years of experience in Human Resources, serving as an HR Business Partner, HR Generalist, or L&D Specialist looking to deepen expertise in talent management.
- Core HR & Talent Knowledge: Foundational understanding of performance review frameworks, goal-setting methodologies, and talent management principles.
- Presentation & Facilitation Skills: Strong public speaking and communication skills, with comfort leading in-person discussions, presentations, and interactive workshops.
- Technical & Data Savvy: Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and comfort working with HRIS or Performance Management platforms (e.g., Workday, Lattice, SuccessFactors, BambooHR (UKG a plus!)).
Desirable / Bonus Qualifications
- Experience assisting with or participating in talent calibration and succession planning meetings.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) or an Adult Learning Certificate.
