NewAge is looking for a Senior Logistics Analyst, who will be responsible for ensuring NewAge’s global logistics network of warehouses and final mile carriers is operating efficiently. They must possess a high level of analytical ability to distinguish multiple components of a problem and develop conclusions using quantitative skills. The successful candidate will thrive in an ambiguous, high-growth environment and will challenge the status quo through a mix of analytical reasoning, deep systems knowledge, and stakeholder trust. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Analyze warehousing, transportation, and reverse logistics financial data to identify opportunities for cost savings, create forecast models, and improve KPI metrics.
  • Collaborate with service providers to fine-tune the invoicing process and proper cost allocation in SAP.
  • Define and manage multiple projects of varying size and complexity including problem definition, data gathering, complex modeling and scenario building, presentation, and implementation.
  • Develop, implement, and review network designs to increase efficiencies and optimization. Evaluate the success of continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Act as a project manager for complex projects involving building/land purchases, long-term financial analysis, and NPV.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders in Finance on large projects requiring long-year financial analyses driving the project with technology, planning, and operations stakeholders.
  • Work with the ERP team to customize operation flow modules related to order fulfillment.
  • Tactical management of storage capacity and delivery promise during major promotions. 
  • Proactively taking decisions.
  • Build costing and analysis models to efficiently evaluate shipping spending.
  • Monitor, report, and analyze market/industry trends and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve positive outcomes.

Qualifications Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain logistics, data analytics, or similar experience required. Preference to BBA with specialization in Supply Chain Solutions.
  • Minimum 4 years experience in analysis of transportation, warehousing, or manufacturing required. 
  • Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to prioritize & effectively participate in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and regulations.
  • Experience in problem-solving and utilizing financial concepts to forecast costs, create budgets, and account for the financial impact of decisions.
  • Advanced data analytical skills are required including proficiency in Excel, VBA macros, Access, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with visual dashboarding, and database query design in SQL, Tableau, or Crystal Reports software is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with SAP Business One or equivalent ERP systems.
  • Experience with Six Sigma or other Process Improvement Methodology valued.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Experience working within a distribution environment is highly valued.
