Job Description:

  

Role Summary 

 

At TransTrack, the Senior Manager, Finance will report to the General Manager and partner with various functions of our business, providing timely financial insights in a collaborative environment. This person will play a key role in the organization’s financial planning process to support future growth, and as such will have direct influence and impact on the strategic financial decisions within the business unit. As TransTrack is part of the larger Modaxo family, experience in both US GAAP and IFRS will be imperative in this role.

 

We are looking for a senior manager who can be strategic, highly analytical, results-oriented, and challenge the status quo. As a member of the leadership team, the right candidate will share a passion for developing talent with a focus on building sustained long-term growth and creating a fantastic place to work.

  

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all financial operations and financial forecasting, reporting and analysis processes, including managing monthly and quarterly deliverables and being lead in Quarterly Strategic Review
  • Proficiency in all aspects of accounting and pertinent regulations including IFRS compliance and corporate accounting policies
  • Drive efficiencies in creating robust reporting and control processes
  • Partner with senior management in developing and achieving financial goals
  • Ensure FP&A processes are robust and include coordination, analysis, and reporting of the financial performance to the Leadership and Portfolio Management Teams
  • Coach and develop key talent within Finance team through detailed, actionable development plans
  • Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement
  • Delivers controlling direction and financial oversight of RFPs, bids, quotes, and POC processes
  • Support design and implementation of more effective and controlled cost estimate process
  • Lead transformation of financial analyses toward business intelligence driven output and enriched business guidance
  • Lead a data-driven approach for decision making through advanced financial business modeling
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of financial significance
  • Maintain appropriate internal control framework for the entire organization; strengthen existing internal controls

Requirements:

  • 5+ years accounting or finance experience, preferably in a technology or production-based environment
  • Professional accounting designation - CPA
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Interpersonal skills to challenge the business while maintaining strong relationships across other functions
  • Strong analytical skills required with a high-level attention to detail and level of accuracy
  • Ability to gather data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and propose solutions
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel is required
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains and NetSuite a plus
  • North American travel may be required (up to 10%)
