About the Role:
We are looking for a Senior Manager of Project Finance to oversee the debt management across all projects, properties, and management companies. The role involves ensuring adequate capitalization for all entities, ensuring compliance with both financial and non-financial loan covenants, securing new debt, managing existing credit facilities, and providing real-time updates on current credit facilities. This includes preparing monthly draws and analyzing various pricing benchmarks.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage dashboards and KPIs for project finance reporting and capital performance.
Oversee short-term cash flow management and ensure timely draw receipts by the 15th business day each month.
With the input from the Director, create of RFPs for debt solicitations related to acquisitions, developments, and corporate debt.
Review and assess the Debt section of Proforma/financial models for accuracy.
Manage key debt-related documents, including Letter of Credit tracking, draw requests, financial covenant tracking, and debt repayment schedules.
Ensure compliance with bank reporting obligations and financial covenants.
Lead and mentor the Project Finance team, supporting their growth through the annual Personal Success Planning process.
Identify efficiencies in managing the debt portfolio and optimize financial performance.
Ensure the delivery of pre-funding requirements, draw requests, and financing covenants.
Collaborate with the Director to maximize debt solutions while managing investor risks.
Review project cash flows for debt modeling accuracy.
Assess interest rate risks and develop strategies for minimizing exposure.
Maintain a diversified debt portfolio and ensure sufficient funds to meet obligations.
Provide regular updates on interest rates, inflation, and economic research from leading banks.
About You:
Finance designation preferred
8 years of relevant finance experience in the real estate industry
Develop and manage dashboards and KPIs for project finance and capital performance reporting
Advanced proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, and database tools (SQL and VBA)
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
Lead and inspire teams, working closely with the Executive Team and business leaders
Apply strategic thinking and analytical skills to identify and manage business risks
Manage multiple projects, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met
Process large volumes of information accurately and efficiently
Prioritize tasks effectively under pressure and manage high role demands
Demonstrate a strong commitment to continuous learning and growth
Optimize ERP systems and IT environments to ensure accurate reporting and cost control
Communicate clearly, both orally and in writing, even when explaining complex information
Maintain a professional, approachable demeanor to support a positive work environment
