Senior Payroll Analyst

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Senior Payroll Analyst on a temporary basis within our People & Culture team (term up to 12 months, may be extended or lead to permanent).

Are you a problem-solving payroll expert? The successful candidate in this role will provide functional guidance and subject matter expertise for payroll activities across the Co-operative Retailing System (CRS). This is an excellent opportunity to work cross-functionally with various teams and flex your expertise in payroll administration within a collaborative, fast paced environment supporting thousands of employees

This position is a hybrid opportunity based in Saskatoon, SK.

What you’ll do:

• Lead Oracle payroll user acceptance testing, validating system changes and ensuring payroll readiness.
• Act as the primary lead for amalgamations, dissolutions, and year-end processes.
• Create and maintain process documentation while enabling effective knowledge transfer across the team.
• Champion People Forward initiatives by managing welcome packages, training, and stakeholder engagement.
• Partner with payroll and technical teams to resolve complex issues, implement process improvements, and escalate system needs.

You will be part of our larger Payroll Services team, reporting to the Senior Manager, Payroll Services. You will work alongside other Payroll Analysts and Payroll Associates, supporting FCL, local Co-ops, and employees across the Co-operative Retailing System. This team strives to cultivate a culture of collaboration, community, and support.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Payroll Services and:

• Have 6+ years of relevant experience in payroll processing and/or customer support on payroll systems.
• Have a bachelor’s degree with a major in accounting (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered)
• Are familiar with UKG and Oracle.
