Senior Project Manager (Civil Construction)

With a focus on road construction, bridge works, deep excavations, and underground utilities (sewer and watermain), the company is expanding its leadership team to meet growing regional demand.

The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with clients, consultants, and municipalities to ensure project delivery meets contract requirements

- Direct and support site superintendents, estimators, and project coordinators

- Monitor project budgets, schedules, and quality control

- Lead tendering, contract negotiations, and change order management

- Champion health & safety, risk mitigation, and environmental compliance

- Provide leadership in resolving technical challenges and on-site issues

- Report on project performance to senior leadership and stakeholders

- Proven delivery of roadworks, bridge, excavation, or deep utility (sewer/watermain) projects

- Post-secondary education in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field

- Strong knowledge of construction contracts (CCDC, MTO, municipal)

- Exceptional communication, leadership, and decision-making skills

- Proficiency with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore, or similar)

- PMP designation or P.Eng. an asset
