Join us as a Senior Project Manager within our Life Sciences & Technology Division!

This is a great opportunity for an experienced and client-oriented construction Project Manager who is looking to grow their career into a new horizon.

As a Senior Project Manager, you are comfortable with principals of Project Management such as Prime Contract/Subcontract Management, Negotiations, Scope writing/Tendering, Safety/Quality, Cost, Schedule, Resource, and Client Management.

If you have experience in delivering sizeable projects independently and successfully, we are interested to speak with you.

Experience or relevant background in the following industries are an assent, but not mandatory: Data Centers, Pharmaceutical Plants, Laboratories, Industrial Facilities, EV Battery Plants, and Battery Components Manufacturing Plans.

Please note that the project is located in Port Colborne (15 minutes outside Niagara).

You as a Senior Project Manager, Life Sciences and Technology will:

Provide overall construction management from pre-construction to completion including design, coordination, budget, and schedule in conjunction with the Superintendent

Prepare regular, timely and accurate billings for Owners, and ensure timely payment of subcontractor billings.

Meet with Owners, Architects and other Stakeholders in a professional manner and have the ability to communicate effectively both the concerns and best interests of the company

Monitor, interpret and forecast a project’s cost reports ensuring they are in line with the estimate and maintain a positive cash flow

Submit project reports to Area Manager and communicate with management about project progress and areas of risk that need to be escalated

Is this the right role for you?

You have an Engineering degree and 10+ years of construction experience including technical training and experience

You have experience in engineering, design build/construction management delivery models/contracts

You have a working knowledge of construction scopes and activities, scheduling, project management and contract software

You have the ability to confidently mentor and delegate to a large team while developing and maintaining strong client relations
