Senior Quantity Surveyor

You'll Be Responsible For:

• Lead commercial management of major civil and infrastructure work packages

• Manage cost reporting, forecasting, cash flow and change control

• Administer subcontract and supplier commercial agreements

• Assess variations, change orders, claims and payment applications

• Support procurement, tender evaluation and subcontract negotiations

• Monitor project budgets, commitments and commercial risk

• Produce accurate monthly commercial and cost reports

• Work closely with construction teams to identify and manage commercial issues

• Support contract administration and resolution of contractual matters

• Maintain robust commercial governance throughout project delivery

You’ll Need To Have:

• MRICS chartership is mandatory

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or a related discipline

• Significant experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager on heavy civil or major infrastructure projects

• Strong experience managing large construction packages and subcontractors

• Excellent knowledge of cost management, change control and contract administration

• Experience with major infrastructure contracts and complex project environments

• Strong commercial judgement and negotiation skills

• Ability to operate effectively within a multidisciplinary project delivery team

• Canadian project experience would be advantageous but is not essential

Note: The estimated salary for this position is 130,000 - 180,000 CAD. Starting salary may vary based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills and qualifications.
