This role necessitates technical proficiency in architecting solutions tailored for tomorrow's challenges within the distributed learning domain, coupled with hands-on experience in coding and delivering enterprise-level platforms. Ensuring adherence to rigorous security standards is imperative, particularly given the sensitivity of our domain in serving defense and aerospace clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of enterprise-level learning systems to support cutting-edge training products primarily for defense and aerospace clients. Architect robust, scalable systems capable of managing high data volumes and concurrent users.
• Design and implement interoperable microservices architecture to facilitate seamless integration with existing and future systems.
• Enforce standards for data exchange and communication protocols to ensure interoperability across different components. Implement rigorous security measures throughout the software development lifecycle to safeguard sensitive data and mitigate cybersecurity threats.
• Stay abreast of industry regulations and compliance requirements, ensuring system adherence to relevant standards and certifications.
• Contribute to the technical roadmap, aligning architectural decisions with business objectives, and providing strategic guidance for software platform and infrastructure evolution.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Minimum of 10 years' software development experience, including at least 2 years in an architect role.
• Proficiency in designing scalable cloud architectures, utilizing services such as AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, or Google Kubernetes Engine.
• Familiarity with various technologies such as Ruby on Rails, C#, C++, and Python.
• In-depth knowledge of data and database design.
• Someone who designs systems from a user perspective.
