Job Description - Senior Strategic Account and Sales Manager - Fleet Maintenance & Repair





As a Senior Strategic Account and Sales Manager, you will provide managed commercial vehicle and maintenance services to retail chains, manufacturers, and distribution companies with commercial fleets requiring maintenance across Ontario. This sales position is a player-coach role. As an individual contributor, you will spend 20% of your time managing existing accounts, with 80% of your time in a leadership role, managing a team of four account managers. This newly created position will be reporting directly to the Vice President of Sales. The base salary is $130,000 - $140,000 plus annual bonus.

Our client provides managed commercial vehicle and maintenance services to retail chains, manufacturers, and distribution companies with commercial fleets that require maintenance across Canada. The company was founded in 2003 with a staff of over 225, and currently growing by over 20-50% per year. Their corporate culture is entrepreneurial and results-focused with an authentic family fee. Their focus is to have an industry-leading culture with a focus on employee engagement. Their current clients include Metro and Loblaws Grocery Chains.


OFFICE LOCATION & SALES TERRITORY:



  • Head Office - Mississauga Ontario

  • Working from the office 2 days a week with client site visits required the remainder of time

  • The sales territory is the Greater Toronto Area

  • Full-time - Monday to Friday


 


EXPERIENCE, BACKGROUND & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:



  • 5+ years of sales experience working in fleet leasing, fleet management and repair services, or related field


  • 5+ years of sales leadership experience




  • Technical automotive experience is considered an asset

  • Excel - Intermediate




  • PowerPoint - Intermediate




  • MS Word - Intermediate




  • Online Demos - Intermediate

  • Commercial Vehicle Repair Services Trucks / Tractors, Trailers (Van, Reefer, Flatbed & Tank)




  • Managed Maintenance Vehicle Repair Services

  • Retail - Private Fleets




  • Distribution / Wholesale - Private Fleets

SALES CYCLE / ORDER VALUE / ACCOUNT SIZE




  • Average project size is 100 - 150 assets




  • Average revenue by customer $350,000 - $500,000



  • Average length of sales cycle 1 week - 12 months
