Job Description - Senior Territory Manager, Endoscopy (Atlantic Canada)

Here, you\u2019ll be supported in progressing \u2013 whatever your ambitions.\n\n \n\nAbout the role:\n\nThe primary role of the position is to assist the Division Manager in achieving the goals and objectives of the Endoscopy Division. The incumbent will be based in Atlantic Canada, preferably in Halifax or Moncton.\n\n \n\nYour responsibilities will include:\n\n\u2022 Develop professionally as a sales representative by gaining practical knowledge and sales techniques. Be able to handle various situations and possess general knowledge of the medical device sector (BSC and competitors).\n\n\u2022 Visit Boston Scientific customers or potential customers regularly and according to a planned schedule to promote the company\u2019s products and services, with the goal of meeting monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as agreed upon with the manager.\n\n\u2022 Under the general supervision of the manager, manage existing customers and acquire new ones within the assigned territory.\n\n\u2022 Following the manager\u2019s general guidelines, plan and develop the market for current and new products in line with the division\u2019s goals and objectives, while making optimal use of available tools (consignment, etc.).\n\n\u2022 Provide ongoing technical training and support to customers directly in the Endo Suite.\n\n\u2022 Build a broad range of business relationships with hospital leadership, purchasing departments, and hospital staff.\n\n\u2022 Attend meetings, conferences, and trade shows as needed to promote Boston Scientific products and services.\n\n\u2022 Analyze and report market and industry feedback to the manager or other stakeholders (on a monthly and annual basis) using all available support tools.\n\n\u2022 Uphold Boston Scientific\u2019s values and integrity.\n\n\u2022 Lead a medium-sized project team upon request.\n\n \n\nRequired qualifications:\n\n\u2022 Bachelor\u2019s degree or higher.\n\n\u2022 At least 2 to 5 years of sales experience \u2014 in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, software, or consumer products. Preferably experience in industries with short sales cycles where direct sales to professionals are required and compensation is performance-based.\n\n\u2022 Demonstrated ability to develop and execute business plans.\n\n\u2022 Proven ability to absorb technical and clinical knowledge, as well as product knowledge, and communicate it effectively to healthcare professionals at all levels.\n\n\u2022 Strong product knowledge and sales skills.\n\n\u2022 Excellent communication skills.\n\n\u2022 Maintains a positive attitude toward the job, teamwork, and representing the company\u2019s image to our customers.\n\n\u2022 Good understanding of the hospital environment.\n\n \n\nRequisition ID: 627335\n\nThe anticipated compensation and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) \u2013 see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com\\--will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role.
