Job Description - Senior Writer

Xpera Risk Mitigation & Investigation (Xpera) is Canada’s premier national provider of risk mitigation services. As we continue to grow in the risk mitigation industry, we’re evolving our brand and market presence to reflect the expertise of our team and the clients we serve.


 


We are seeking a Senior Writer to support marketing initiatives across our divisions. This role offers a diverse mix of writing responsibilities across channels. Proposal development and proposal library management will be your primary focus, accounting for approximately 70% of the role. The remaining 30% will focus on B2B communications, including marketing campaigns, news releases, sales materials, and other strategic content initiatives. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across sales, operations, and marketing, including graphic design, web, and digital specialists, to deliver compelling and effective communications.


 


This is a remote position within Canada with the opportunity to visit local offices. Reporting to the Director of Marketing & Customer Experience, you will create impactful content that strengthens Xpera’s brand presence and supports business growth. What You Will Do:




  • Proposal development.

  • B2B communications (campaign content, news releases, sales materials, and other strategic content).

  • Collaborate closely across divisions, including sales and operational teams.

  • Collaborate closely with marketing team colleagues.


 


What You Will Bring:




  • Four or more years of professional experience writing proposals.

  • Post-secondary education in Communications or a combination of equivalent education and experience.

  • B2B experience is an asset.

  • Strong ability to write for different formats and audiences and collaborate across company divisions with key stakeholders.

  • Exceptional communication and project management skills.

  • A self-starter with the ability to work independently, seeking solutions and thriving in a remote environment, connecting and collaborating with ease.

  • Agile, quick to adapt, and ready to seize new opportunities.

  • Strong proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Bilingual (English & French) is an asset.
